Concentration

isodisnatura.com's food supplements have specific omega-3 concentrations, and their formulations comply with their claims.

The fish oils used in the production of our food supplements are particularly rich in omega-3. The omega-3 concentration of OM3emotion can be as high as 95%, thus fewer capsules are needed to attain the required dose of omega-3 (thus limiting the intake of superfluous fats).

In addition to the high omega-3 concentrations, isodisnatura.com ensures that its food supplements are formulated to give EPA/DHA ratios equivalent to those whose precise health benefits have been scientifically proven.

Safety

From the choice of fishing zones and fish species, through the manufacturing process that ensures the optimal purity and stability of the fish oil used, to the detailed labeling of the end-product, isodisnatura guarantees the highest and most reliable quality.

In February 2005, researchers at the University of Harvard published the following study results: fish oil supplements are a safer source of omega-3 than eating the fish themselves (Melanson SF, et. Al, 2005). The supplements contain infinitely fewer contaminants. The superior quality of supplements could be partly explained by the choice of fish species used and by the extraction process.
For example, the concentrations of the contaminants most commonly found in fish were analyzed and compared with those found in OM3 (http://www.inra.fr/presse/COMMUNIQUES/doc-comm118.pdf, Oleotest, March 2005):
µg Fish (100g portion) OM3 (3 capsules) Ratio
Arsenic 224 0.075 2983
Cadnium 0.16 0.015 11
Lead 2.3 0.015 153
Mercury 6.2 0.03 207

The recommended daily dose of OM3 contains around 3,000 times less arsenic than a standard portion of fish.

Quality

The quantities of omega-3 measured in our food supplements comply with the quantities printed on the packaging.
The oils are obtained exclusively from wild fish (sardines, mackerel, herrings, and tuna-fish) taken from the cold seas of South America and Thailand (tuna). The wild origin of the fish is a guarantor of their natural diet.
Moreover, the manufacturing process complies with current safety norms for foodstuffs (ISO9001) and is carried out in accordance with pharmaceutical norms (GMP). In addition to the rigorous controls carried out during the production phases, isodisnatura.com regularly and systematically uses an independent laboratory to undertake quality control testing on the stocks of finished products throughout the duration of their shelf life.
