Venous insufficiency and day-to-day fatigue

Approximately 30 million European women currently suffer from chronic venous insufficiency.
In the majority of cases, the venous insufficiency experienced is poor venous circulation in the lower limbs.

But this ailment can also be the reason behind physical and psychological fatigue, a symptom that often appears well before varicose veins develop or the legs begin to feel heavy.

This feeling of lethargy comes from a lack of oxygen in the blood, which is caused by the fact that the blood struggles to make its way back to the heart to be pumped back round the body.

One of the things that can be done to cure this ailment is to improve the circulation of blood with the help of foodstuffs or plants.
Bioflavonoids and Vitamin C enhance the elasticity of the vein walls and favour return circulation.

Red vine, meanwhile, is known to have a protective effect on the capillary walls, notably by reducing their permeability.

Gingko Biloba, Horse Chestnut and Butcher's Broom are also known to have a beneficial effect in the treatment of venous insufficiency.
