1 How long must a person take DUADOL?
For best effect, it is very important to take DUADOL capsules regularly and continuously during a course.
The course must be adapted according to the intensity and frequency of joint pain.
Depending on different circumstances (climatic conditions, over-exertion etc.) some periods may be more painful than others. Therefore, following an intensive course is recommended, by taking DUADOL continuously over 2 to 3 months. This course must be extended as necessary. An improvement may be seen in the third week of use.
For an ongoing course, if you follow it as a matter of routine during periods when pain is more moderate, you can alternate 15 consecutive days per month, followed by 15 days without it.
If you suffer from more severe pain, DUADOL may be taken on a continuous basis with no side effects, at the recommended daily dosages.
Taking 3 capsules per day is recommended (one in the morning and two at night).
2 Can I take DUADOL if I am suffering from arthritis, rheumatoid polyarthritis or ankylosing spondylarthritis?
Arthritis includes all inflammatory disorders which affect the joints, either chronic or acute.
Arthritis may take several forms, the most common being arthrosis, rheumatoid polyarthritis, infectional arthritis, juvenile arthritis, gout, fibromyalgia and psoriasic rheumatism (one of the symptoms of psoriasis).
Due to the anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties of its constituents, DUADOL can be used to help soothe joints that are painful due to inflammation.
3 How is DUADOL manufactured?
DUADOL is made up of two major types of ingredients: marine ingredients and herbal ingredients.
Fish oil contained in DUADOL is of pharmaceutical quality and comes exclusively from wild fish (anchovies and sardines).
Plant extracts (Meadowsweet and Harpagophytum) are certified non-genetically-modified and non-irradiated.
Each stage in the manufacture of DUADOL, from its raw materials to its packaging, takes place in accordance with "GMP" (Good Manufacturing Practices) to guarantee the quality and traceability of the product.
Quality control during the stages of production is used to guarantee quality. Analyses are carried out by an independent OLEOTEST laboratory (Belgium).
4 For how long should OM3flex be taken?

This course must be prolonged if necessary. An improvement may be observed from the third week of use.
For a maintenance course, which is usually taken during periods of less severe discomfort, treatment for 15 consecutive days each month may be followed by 15 days without treatment.
OM3flex may be taken without interruption with no risks for health at the recommended daily doses.

6 Why does OM3flex contain Omega-3?
OM3flex was specifically formulated to provide a natural solution to back disorders and sensitive joints. The marine ingredients contained in OM3flex are the omega-3. They have been specifically selected for their properties described in clinical studies.
7 Can DUADOL be taken with medical treatment?
DUADOL is a dietary supplement made from natural ingredients which carry no side effects at recommended dosages. It can be used in conjunction with medical treatment.
Omega-3 fatty acids can cause a reduction in platelet aggregation comparable to the effect of aspirin. If you experience coagulation problems or are taking anticoagulants, you are advised to consult your doctor, since one product may enhance the effect of the other. However, existing studies have not demonstrated increased bleeding time with doses of omega-3 of up to 3g/day (i.e. 10 DUADOL capsules).
8 Each DUADOL capsule already contains vitamin E, Is there a risk of receiving too much vitamin E if I take it as well?
The dosage of vitamin E already contained in DUADOL capsules is intended to limit oxidation of the product during its shelf life.
It is too low (about 7.5mg per day or 10 units) for there to be any risk of too high a dose of vitamin E. The daily dosage of vitamin E which should not be exceeded is about 500mg (or 800 units). Over this dosage, it may carry a risk of bleeding, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, tiredness, increased arterial tension, or lowered resistance to infections.
9 Can I apply an ointment if I am following a course of DUADOL?
There is no known evidence against using a local anti-inflammatory treatment whilst taking the dietary supplement DUADOL.
10 Can OM3flex be taken with a medical treatment?
OM3flex is a dietary supplement comprising substances of natural origin which have no adverse effects at recommended doses. It may be combined with a medical treatment.
