C'est nouveau. C'est dans la nature.

The story

Modern nutrition has shown that our diets are unbalanced, and that we lack vitamins, some minerals and mono-unsaturated fatty acids.

The meals we get from the food and restaurant industry may seem to satisfy our needs, but in fact, it is harmful to our overall nutrition.

This style of eating has a multitude of effects on our health. Most developed nations have started to react for the better, taking steps towards better nutrition. More and more people are taking nutritional supplements, which provide the right ingredients at the right dose.

Researchers are constantly learning more about the body's metabolism and its epidemiological consequences.

In the 1990s, there was a focus on essential fatty acids, then on the different roles omega-3s and omega-6s play in keeping the body balanced.

In the 2000s, researchers identified how different molecules in the omega-3s family function.   Today, we can no longer speak generally about omega-3s, because not all omega-3s are the same, and some of them play different roles. The most common and least expensive ALA has a low level of bio-equivalence compared with DHA and EPA. However, it is the most commonly used by the food industry in many brands of nutritional supplements.

Our laboratory has invested in public research to improve our understanding of EPA and DHA. These studies are being published in leading scientific journals so that the results can benefit as many people as possible.

As part of this research, OM3 has designed its nutritional supplements in cooperation with leading scientific experts.

Our formulas are clinically tested in double-blind placebo-controlled studies conducted in hospitals.
