Where are anti-oxidants hidden?

Some advice to increase your daily consumption of anti-oxidants:

See “the omega3 diet” of Doctor Artémis Simopoulos and Jo Robinson (p145):

· Eat fruit for breakfast every day
· Follow the European tradition of having fresh fruit for a snack, no crisps or crackers
· Take dried fruit with you to work
· Eat at least one green salad or other raw vegetables every day
· Have at least two vegetables for dinner
· Have fresh fruit for dessert (occasionally fruit based desserts such as a plain slice of apple or cherry tart or an apple dumpling)
· Eat soups richer in vegetables than in meat or pasta
· Grill vegetables at the same time as meat
· In a restaurant, ask for a salad and two vegetables to go with your main course, or order a vegetarian main course.
· You have to remember that it is important to vary fruits and vegetables as much as possible
· Also, don’t forget to use garlic, onion, shallots, parsley and other aromatic herbs widely.
