OM3 is a pharmaceutical grade oil manufactured exclusively from wild fish (anchovies, sardines).
Every stage during the manufacture of OM3 is carried out according to Good Food or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Practices “GMP” in order to guarantee production of oil with a satisfactory pharmaceutical quality complying with ISO 9001 standards. In addition to rigorous in-process controls conducted during manufacture, isodisnatura periodically contracts a certified independent laboratory to carry out an analysis of stocks of finished product in order to control quality during their shelf-life.
Most commercially available fish oils only contain 30% of omega-3 fatty acids (some only 15%). The remaining 70% of the oil consumed is rich in calories but not in benefits for health. OM3 has an extremely high omega-3 concentration (90%).Shelf life
OM3 contains a protective dose of vitamin E (3 mg per gram of oil) which makes it possible to keep the omega-3 in a biologically active state and to limit the risk of peroxidation. Because of the presence of vitamin E, OM3 has a shelf life of 3 years if it is kept at a temperature of between 15 and 25°C in a dry place. On the contrary, exposure of the product to light and a high temperature reduces its life span and may damage the soft capsules.
