Ingredients
Concentrated wild fish oil (90% of omega-3), Devil's Claw extract (Harpagophytum procumbens L., 400 mg or 20 mg of harpagosides), yellow beeswax, Filipendula ulmaria L. extract (meadowsweet, 50 mg), zinc sulfate, natural vitamin E certified non GMO.
Containing: Wild fish gelatin, water, glycerol, titanium dioxide and chlorophyll.
Production and Quality
Each stage during manufacture of OM3flex is carried out according to good manufacturing practices or “GMP” in order to guarantee product quality and traceability.
OM3flex contains a pharmaceutical grade oil manufactured exclusively from wild fish (anchovies and sardines).
Plant extracts (Meadowsweet and Harpagophytum) are certified non GMO and have not been irradiated. Their quality is guaranteed by in-process quality control tests during production. Analyzes are carried out by an independent laboratory certified by the Belgian government.
As well as the rigorous control tests conducted during production stages, isodisnatura periodically contracts an independent laboratory to conduct analyzes on stocks of OM3flex in order to control quality during its shelf-life.
Shelf life
OM3flex contains a protective dose of vitamin E in order to maintain omega-3 in a biologically active state and to limit the risk of peroxidation.
OM3flex capsules have a shelf-life of 3 years if they are kept in their original container, protected from light, and at temperatures between 15° and 25° C.
Exposure of the product to light and a high temperature reduces its life span and may damage the soft capsules.

Dose
OM3flex is only intended for adults.
The recommended dose of OM3flex is three capsules per day with one capsule in the morning and two capsules in the evening. This distribution is particularly appropriate for persons with morning stiffness.
In the case of severe discomfort, the dose may be increased to 6 capsules of OM3flex per day with no risks for health.
Suggested administration
The capsules should be taken before a meal, or, for the evening dose, before retiring to bed so that no taste of fish is left in the mouth.
Duration of treatment
The first beneficial effects are observed from the third week of use.
Intensive course : During 2 to 3 months without interruption. This course must be prolonged if necessary.
Maintenance course: 15 consecutive days per month, followed by 15 days of discontinuation. It is important to scrupulously follow the courses for a maximum effect.
OM3flex may be taken without interruption with no risks for health at the recommended daily doses.
Precautions
OM3flex is a dietary supplement; it contains only natural ingredients and has no adverse effects.
Certain persons may note a slight and temporary increase in intestinal transit.
Omega-3 fatty acids may cause a reduction in platelet aggregation similar that induced by aspirin. Ask your doctor for advice if you suffer blood coagulation disorders or if you are taking anticoagulant treatment as the effects of the products may be potentiated. However, studies have not shown an increase in bleeding time with omega-3 doses of up to 3 g per day (that is 10 capsules of OM3flex).
When should OM3flex not be used?
OM3flex should not be used by persons who are allergic to one of its ingredients (in particular fish or aspirin).
Persons suffering from pancreatic disorders (congenital malformations of the pancreas, chronic or acute pancreatitis) should avoid the consumption of fats in general. In these cases, administration of OM3flex, like that of all other food supplements containing essential fatty acids, is not recommended.
In the absence of any conclusive scientific data, OM3flex should not be used by pregnant women, during breast-feeding or in children: Ask your doctor or pharmacist for their advice.
Possible interactions
The only likely drug interaction of omega-3 is with anticoagulants and possibly aspirin as theoretically it may increase the effects of these agents on the fluidity of blood. You should therefore inform your doctor that you intend to take omega-3 supplements and ask him to adjust the anticoagulant treatment accordingly (generally by reducing the dose of the drug, on the basis of the results of tests of clotting or bleeding times which are generally unchanged).
